How do I set the BT Cloud Work Desktop App as the default calling and faxing application?

The BT Cloud Work Desktop App's Click-to-Dial feature allows users to automatically launch the BT Cloud Work Desktop App to make calls or send faxes by clicking on a telephone or fax number on websites that support call: to, Tel: and fax: protocols.
 

How does it work?

You need to make sure that the BT Cloud Work Desktop App is logged in for the automatic launching to work. There is no need to highlight the phone number. Just hover your mouse over the phone number then click it. The number should automatically appear in the BT Cloud Work Desktop App's dialler. 

To enable this feature, follow the steps below:

  1. Launch the BT Cloud Work Desktop App.

  2. Click Settings

  3. In the General tab, look for Set as a default faxing and calling application, and then click Apply.

NOTE: You will know that the BT Cloud Work Desktop App is already set as the default calling and faxing when you see the message "Currently set as default faxing and calling application".
