How can Administrators Add Forwarding Numbers in BT Cloud Work

This article contains information on how can Administrators add forwarding numbers to Admin extensions and for a User on the BT Cloud Work portal.

How to Add a Forwarding number to the Administrator's extension

  1. Log in to the BT Cloud Work portal.
  2. On the Admin portal, click the dropdown list, then go to My Extension.
  3. Click Settings > Call Handling & Forwarding.
  4. Add additional numbers by entering the Phone number for any of the following available default labels: Home, Work, Mobile.

    NOTE: If you need to add more Forwarding numbers or to create a customised label for the Forwarding number, click + Add call forwarding phone.

  5. Enter the Phone name, then the Phone number.
  6. Set how long the caller will hear the ringing before the system tries the next number in the list.
  7. Choose how the system will ring your Forwarding numbers.
    • Sequentially - This option rings these numbers one at a time, in order of priority. Hover over the Move icon, then drag the number to the desired position.
    • Simultaneously - This option rings all the forwarding numbers at the same time.

How to Add a Forwarding number for a User

  1. Log in to the BT Cloud Work Portal.
  2. On the Admin portal, go to Users > User list > Users with extensions
  3. Click the name of the User and click the Call Handling & Forwarding.
  4. Add additional numbers by entering the Phone number for any of the following available default labels: Home, Work, Mobile.

    NOTE: If you need to add more Forwarding numbers or to create a customised label for the Forwarding number, click + Add call forwarding phone.

  5. Enter the Phone name, then the Phone number.
