Call Park is a feature that allows BT Cloud Work Users to place a call on hold, send that call to a park extension, and let another user pick up the call on another phone by dialing that extension.
Public Call Park puts a call on hold in a public location that’s accessible to any user who dials an automatically assigned virtual location number. Public Call Park is the default setting and doesn’t require the configuration of any additional settings. It has a return time of 5 minutes.
Private Call Park uses the Park Location Group feature. A call placed on hold in a Park Location group is only visible and accessible to the members who use supported deskphones or the BT Cloud Work Phone application. It has no park return time limit.
A Park Location group is a private location in which specific users can park and pick up calls. Once users have been added to a group, the Park Location can be added to the user’s Presence on a deskphone on the BT Cloud Work Phone app’s HUD. Call Park supports up to 100 Park Location groups, with no limitation on the number of users per group.
Call Park is available for all BT Cloud Work plans.
Call Park is included at no additional cost with BT Cloud Work.
